Through TD Insurance's partnership with NSCC Alumni Relations, we're able to deepen our connection and engagement with NSCC alumni and students at the College.

In this report, you will find inspiring highlights from the past year, showcasing the tangible outcomes of your support. Because of you, NSCC Alumni Relations:

  • Supports annual student awards such as Alumni Legacy Awards for each campus and additional awards including NSCC 25th Anniversary Awards, Archy Beals Legacy Award, Heather O'Brien and Kristen Beaton VON Memorial Awards.
  • Supports entrepreneurial initiatives like NSCC’s Ask a Black Entrepreneur Panel, the Start-Up Accelerator Program, Entrepreneur-in-the-Making Blk Women in Excellence Cohort and our annual Shop NSCC programming.
  • Funds the reprint costs for Mi’kmaq and Indigenous alumni who want to have their credential translated into the Mi’kmaw language.
  • Sponsors NSCC career fairs and showcases such as Spark Creativity.
  • Funds 21 Convocation Alumni Receptions across the province.
  • Hosts events like Red Cross Disaster Preparedness Webinar, Alumni Farm Fun Day at Noggins and Alumni Night with Thunderbird Lacrosse with reduced costs for students and alumni.

Your impact is immeasurable. Being able to engage NSCC's alumni community and support their education and careers before and after graduation, thanks to our partnership with TD Insurance, makes us incredibly grateful.

We are committed to enhancing learning experiences at the College, and we look forward to exploring the ongoing opportunities to deepen our impact on students and alumni across the province, together.
