A message of gratitude
A message of gratitude
Over the past year, you have helped inspire people and communities across Nova Scotia through transformational student and alumni supports. Your generosity has made it possible for students and alumni to stay focused on their education, career, and the path ahead of them. At a time when financial worries arose from unexpected challenges, and the cost-of-living crisis threatened to derail the hard work and commitment to their goals, donor funded programs were there. These essential supports kept students on track for success. The impact this donor and partner community continues to have is profound.
You have made a difference in the lives of so many. Having access to flexible financial aid, hands-on learning experiences and career supports makes a life-long impact. Students and alumni often share their sincere gratitude for the support they have received, which motivates them to succeed both in their education and careers. Thank you for being a beacon of hope for students and alumni when they need it most.
In this report, you will find highlights from the past year, including:
- Responding to increased student need through cost-of-living supports;
- Community-focused student learning opportunities and support for equity-deserving students;
- Funding for innovative career readiness programs;
- Alumni milestones and entrepreneur empowerment; and
- The latest on the new Sydney Waterfront Campus Campaign – Transform, Together.
As we approach the 2023-2024 academic year, we are excited to see what is in store for NSCC, the Foundation, and Alumni Relations. We look forward to deepening our engagement with communities and discovering how we can continue to improve supports and enhance learning at the College.
With deep appreciation,
