Alumni Awards

Launched in spring 2024, the NSCC Alumni Awards is a major College milestone as it’s the first awards program at NSCC dedicated to alumni recognition. Sponsored by our affinity partner TD Insurance, the awards recognize and celebrate alumni who are making outstanding contributions to their field and community. We are proud to honour these recipients and share their inspirational stories.

The four award categories include:

  1. NSCC Service Award
  2. Entrepreneurship Award
  3. Transformational Change Award
  4. Community Impact Award

Alumni donor spotlight

“I’m passionate about people and community, and giving back to the institution that helped shape my journey in Canada was a natural decision.

I received financial aid during my studies, so I know how mentally and financially draining it can be for students. My donation, no matter how little, can make a meaningful difference.

I believe in the principle of 'paying it forward.' Supporting students not only helps ease their burden but also motivates faculty and staff to keep making a difference. Everyone wins when we invest in the future.”

Grace Okechukwu Medical Office Administration ‘23, Institute of Technology Campus 2023 Recipient, Chartwell’s Cost of Living Bursary
