NSCC graduates are shaping industries and strengthening communities across Nova Scotia and beyond. Alumni Relations is committed to nurturing meaningful connections between graduates and NSCC, supporting entrepreneurial ambitions and encouraging lifelong engagement through intentional alumni programming and communications.

- Celebrated the inaugural Alumni Awards recipients at an intimate reception, sponsored by TD Insurance.
- Continued to play an integral role at NSCC convocations, through funding and hosting 21 Alumni Receptions across the province.
- Supported events that connect graduating students, alumni and industry, helping to strengthen career pathways and professional networks.
- Hosted a variety of community-favourite social events that bring alumni together, building pride for the NSCC connection in the community.
- Launched the NSCC Alumni Book Club for students, alumni and employees, now growing to 72 members.
- Supported students and alumni entrepreneurs through the Ask a Black Entrepreneur panel and sponsorship for the Start-up Accelerator Program and Entrepreneur in the Making Black and African Nova Scotian Cohort.

Graduate Katie MacIntosh (Survey Technician ’08, Geomatics Engineering Technology ‘09, Marine Geomatics ’10, Annapolis Valley Campus) took part in the 2026 Sea Women Expeditions mission to Antarctica, promoting subsea research and women in STEM. Alumni Relations proudly contributed through sponsorship.

The generosity of alumni donors plays an important role in supporting students by paying it forward to help them focus on learning instead of worrying about everyday expenses.
