Student and alumni centred
Through the relationships we develop and steward, we will remain focused on opportunities that benefit our students and alumni. We will build equitable pathways for those seeking to access post-secondary education and support their transition from student to alumni. We will provide opportunities for growth, connection, and celebrate their accomplishments along the way. We will contribute to intentional, holistic, and lifelong opportunities that build affinity and ongoing value to their personal and professional life.
“To me, being alumni means maintaining that sense of community connection that sparked and was fostered as a student. Arriving at an NSCC campus at 18 years old felt like I was arriving at a second home. And as alumni, I continue to walk through the community and see the people I went to school with — they’re your mechanic, and hairdresser, and nurse. They hold positions of influence, in community-focused roles, that foster a sense of connection.”
