“When NSCC employees take part in international projects like KBEST 13, they’re not only sharing their expertise abroad, but they’re also bringing back knowledge, insight, and global perspective that enrich our classrooms and communities. These experiences reflect who we are as a learner-centred, innovative institution committed to making a difference both locally and globally.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the International Office on a few projects in the Caribbean with other colleges. Working with the project manager Mr. Kondali has been very rewarding and made me feel like I was in safe hands when travelling abroad. I feel the work we are doing to assist local colleges in the Caribbean with hands-on GIS and Geomatics courses using local data will enhance their ability to utilize the latest information collected in the region and assist them with improving the quality of life and dealing with some of the same coastal and climate issues we are dealing with in NS.”

"My visit to NSCC and Nova Scotia, was an enriching experience that combined professional development and cultural discovery.
The entire adventure has helped me grow personally, by becoming more open and culturally aware, and professionally, by gaining insight into how innovation and tradition can work hand in hand."
