Enhanced quality and increased participation in global skills opportunities for students
2023 Results
- 70 students participated in 13 projects within nine countries around the world;
- 58 students identified as being part of a target group (low-income, Indigenous and students with disabilities);
- 14 employees led and supported students on projects;
- Online pre-departure course strengthened with additional resources and modules;
- Study Abroad Ambassador Program re-launched;
- Developed Standard Operating Procedures to help mitigate potential risks abroad;
- Updated waivers and new side-trip waiver;
- Worked with Aléas to facilitate risk management sessions with employee leads;
- Promoted program applications on Brightspace;
- Most applications ever with 290

Rather, my goal was to step outside my comfort zone and recognize that there's a vast world of possibilities around me. I realized that it's up to me to take chances and pursue my aspirations because ultimately, I deserve to achieve my dreams."
