NSCC will be an important part of creating welcoming communities for international students and immigrants in Nova Scotia.

In collaboration with other NSCC departments:

Link to provincial, national and international networks, standards, practices and opportunities

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities with partner institutions
  • Develop proposals for external funding
  • Promote opportunities, selection process for students and employees
  • Manage risk
  • Project design, development and management
  • Build capacity and knowledge sharing with employees and students

In 2022-23 EduNova’s Study & Stay™ in Nova Scotia program launched its 7th year with an expanded program designed to support 2,000 international students to live and work in Nova Scotia after graduation over the next 4 years

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Accord

In 2020, NSCC signed on to the UNSDG Accord. This committed NSCC to embed and align efforts with the 17 UN SDGs, targets and indicators, working through NSCC’s education, research, leadership, operational and engagement activities, including internationalization.
